Occombe Farm - Torquay

Occombe Farm is a project of Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, an environmental charity looking after many of Torbay's wild places and heritage sites. All the profits from Occombe Farm go to support conservation work in Torbay.

Allsop and Pitts were involved from the start initially helping to build a budget for the project by pricing all of the catering equipment, coldrooms, counters and flooring.

Once the project was live we installed equipment into the café kitchen and the professional bakery, which bakes for the café and farm shop. Additionally we provided a ventilation system that extracts and replaces air for both areas of the business. The café and shop called for some very special stainless steel tops to fit onto custom made wooden bases, by working closely with a carpenter these were installed on time and look great.
